Men’s 4 on 4 Basketball League Macomb Township Recreation Center - 18 Years and Older Registration No. 122301-A 18 & Up Registration No. 122301-B Over 30 Team Fee: $600 ($100 deposit due upon registration). NR Fee: $10 per non-resident player. 4 on 4 basketball is a great fast pace game that emphasizes transition offense and defense as well as conditioning. Players, both young and older, love this exciting game because the slightly smaller court size permits the quality of play to remain constant through the entire game. Teams will play 10 league games and a post season tournament. Games include two twenty (20) minute halves with a running clock until the last two minutes of each half. Unless otherwise noted, MHSAA rules will be followed. Matching uniforms with numbers are required. A mandatory managers meeting will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 6:30pm at the Recreation Center. During the meeting final balances and rosters will be collected and rules and procedures will be reviewed. At the conclusion of the meeting one practice date will be scheduled for each team. League starts on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Game Times are at 6:00pm, 6:50pm, 7:40pm and 8:30pm Included with fees: Ref fee, scorekeeper, awards, 10 league games and a post season tournament. Final balance of $500 due at mandatory managers meeting held on January 10, 2013 at 6:30pm. League size - minimum of 4 teams. CANCELLATION HOTLINE: 586-992-2909 OPEN GYMNASIUM: All gymnasium times are designated for open basketball unless preplanned events occur. Organized pick-up basketball games will be allowed on both halves of gymnasium B unless the facility is deemed too crowded by Management. In the event the facility is deemed too crowded, open shooting will occur in the gymnasiums. Beginning on Thursday, January 17 thru Thursday, March 21, open basketball will be limited to Gymnasium B ONLY. Please keep in mind that the facility will be extremely crowded and organized pick-up games may not be permitted. The Macomb Township Recreation Center does not allow private gymnasium rentals during normal hours of operation which is Monday-Friday 6:00am-10:00pm - Saturday 8:00am-8:00pm - Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm. Adult Softball Leagues USSSA Men’s & Coed Leagues (Ages 18 and up) Session I - Summer: 122902-A Men’s League Start Date: May 5 Game Times: 5:00-9:00pm 122902-B Co-ed League Start Date: May 5 Game Times: 5:00-9:00pm Session II - Fall: 222902-A Men’s League Start Date: August 4 Game Times: 5:00-9:00pm 222902-B Coed League Start Date: August 4 Game Times: 5:00-9:00pm Team Fee: $600 ($100 deposit due upon registration). NR Fee: $10 per non-resident player. All leagues play on Sunday evenings at Macomb Corners Park. Team rosters can contain up to 20 players. Each team is guaranteed to play 10 league games and a post season single elimination tournament. USSSA rules unless otherwise noted. Matching uniforms with numbers are highly recommended but not required. Summer session managers meeting will be held at the Recreation Center on May 2 at 6:00pm. Co-Ed 6x6 League (Ages 18 & up) Macomb Corners Park – 25 Mile Rd Wednesday Evenings June 12 - August 21 - Registrtaion No. 222501-A (No games on July 3) Team Entry Fee: $150.00 NR Fee: $10.00 (per non-resident). Sign up today for our recreation sand volleyball league held at Macomb Corners Park. The league features a 6 person co-ed team, consisting of three males and three females. Players must be at least 18 years of age and older to play on a team. Teams may carry up to 12 players. Teams are responsible for abiding by league rules – there are NO referees. League play will consist of eight (8) games and a single elimination tournament at the conclusion of league play. Game times will be scheduled alternating between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. If needed, rain make-up dates will be decided by the Parks and Recreation Department. Registration materials are available at the Recreation Center. Practices dates, times and locations will be set by each individual team coach. All games will played at Macomb Corners Park. All players will receive a team jersey and a flag belt. All players are required to provide their own mouth guard and wear it at practices and games. Actual Game Dates TBA: From September to October. Game schedule will be provided prior to game 1. Registration must be in person only! Registration is first come first serve for the first 120 in each age group. A birth certificate must be shown at registration to confirm age. If openings still exist after the “Residents Only” signup, then Non-resident players will have an opportunity to sign up at a later date. Interested candidates should be enthusiastic, positive, and agree to the NFL Youth Coaches guidelines, including promoting safety, ‘fun’damental instruction, good sportsmanship, and skill development.
