The Macomb Township Recreation Center opened its doors on July 19, 2004.  This state of the art 57,000 square foot facility offers 2 pools (with water slide, a lazy river and other water features), a gymnasium, aerobics room, complete workout area, running track, soft play indoor playscape, child watch room, teen room and a party room.  On June 18, 2007 the Recreation Center opened its phase II expansion which includes a second gymnasium, improved and expanded workout facilities, an improved figure eight running track, an additional party room and much much more!  The Recreation Center will be the hub of recreational activity for Macomb Township residents for many years to come.  If you haven’t already, come visit us soon and see what we have to offer for family members of all ages.  To see pictures of the Recreation Center click here.

The Recreation Center is open 7 days a week:
Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 10:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

The Macomb Township Marvin Blank Senior Center is now open on a drop-in basis 3 days a week for seniors over the age of 55.  The operating hours are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am - 3:00pm (except on holidays).  To contact the Senior Center please call 586-226-4227.

Senior Citizen Nutrition - Dining Senior Style is now available in Macomb Township at the Senior Center.  Seniors over the age of 60 are eligible to participate in the Macomb County Nutrition Program.  Meals are served starting at 11:30am on Tuesday afternoons at the Senior Center. 
A $3.00 cost share is welcomed but not required.  Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis.

All patrons wanting to purchase a daily pass for the Macomb Township Recreation Center must fill out and sign a daily admission waiver form.  This form is required in addition to showing proof of residency.  Parents must fill out and sign forms for patrons under age 18.  Admission to the Recreation Center will not be allowed if a signed form is not on file.  Thank you for your cooperation.
