School Debt: Debt represents millage, approved by the voters of the school district, for construction, land acquisition, improvements or specific projects. Debt millage cannot be used for salaries, benefits or any general operation.

School Operating: Operating funds are used for all expenses related to the day to day operation of the school district. This includes supplies, equipment, salaries, benefits and untilities etc.

Macomb County SMART Bus: The represents Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation. This curb-to-curb advance reservation service open to the general public, approved by voters in August 2006.

Huron-Clinton Metro Authority (HCMA): This represents Huron Clinton Metropolitan Authority and pays for capital improvements and operations of county parks. This Act 147 of Public Act 1939 passed in November 1940.

Zoo Authority: This millage was passed at the primary election of August 5, 2008 to cover expenses of The Detroit Zoo.

Delinquent Water and Sewer: Any water bills that are delinquent as of October 1 are added to the winter tax bill.

Delinquent Waste Management: The Township has a single waste hauler service that is distributed over every home in the Township for cost efficiency. Any bills that are delinquent before October 1 are added to the winter tax bill. To contact Waste Management please call 1-800-796-9696.
