Aquatic Center Hours

Swim Lesson Registration. Please go to the program registration site for detailed information and to sign up for available times.

Adult Fitness Swim – NEW***
No longer need to pre-register for sessions. You can come in at your preferred time just like it used to be!
Monday – Friday 6:00am – 11:45am
Saturday 8:00am – 11:45am
Sunday 10:00am – 11:45am
Timed Use Lane*** 
Monday – Fridays 6:00am - 11:45am only
-One lap lane will be designated as a single swimmer use lane for those who prefer not to share a lane, with a 45 minute maximum time limit.  
-Sign-up will be in real time, first come first serve on the pool deck.  
-All other lanes will be required sharing as needed.
-Lifeguards will be available to answer questions

Open Swim Sessions – NEW***
Tickets must be purchased for a swim session. Each session has limited openings to adhere to COVID restrictions. One session per person per day.  
Tickets can be purchased up to one week in advanced at the front desk.
Tickets are non-refundable MTRC is not responsible for lost tickets.

12:00pm – 1:45pm & 2:00pm – 3:45pm

General Information during Covid-19
1) Lap lane usage is based on first come first serve.  
2) No Refunds/Make-Ups for missed or unattended sessions.
3) In the Event of Governor mandated COVID closures, credits will be applied to the household account for remaining missed classes.  
4) Face coverings must be worn while in the building, however they are not encouraged while in the water. Face coverings must be worn moving from the locker room to the exit.
5) Arrive ready to swim. Be dressed in your swim suit and be prepared to exit the same way. Locker rooms will be available on a limited basis and use will be highly discouraged except for emergencies. We will be continuously cleaning these areas however to reduce possible exposures we would like you to avoid locker room use at all costs.  
6) Entrances and exits for each session will be monitored. Enter the facility through the main doors. Parking in the west lot is the nearest parking for your exit. At the conclusion of your swim session, you will be exiting from the sundeck.  
7) Between swim sessions, areas utilized by swimmers will be disinfected and prepared for the next group.
8) Do not over pack. Bring towels, goggles, flip flops. Our mission is to prevent virus transmission and the fewer items brought into the facility the less exposure possible.
9) Bring only the essentials for swim time (goggles, towel, flip flops, water bottle). Leave all other items in your car or at home.  
10) Do not arrive sooner than 10 minutes before your pre-registered swim time. Early entrances will not be allowed. A designated waiting area will be available.
11) Control measures have been put in place to assist with social distancing practices.  While at the pool we ask that you be respectful of others and staff.  Please maintain 6 feet distance from people outside of your household group.
The Macomb Township Parks and Recreation Aquatics Center features two pool facilities and a whirlpool. The Lap/Slide Pool includes four 20-yard lap lanes, water slide, log run and lazy river/vortex with waterfall. The Feature Pool includes a zero depth entry area, SCS play structure and floor geysers.

Before visiting the Aquatic Center, please refer to the pool hours to be sure the pool is open for drop-in swim/recreation use. In addition to drop-in/open swim, the aquatic center also offers a variety of aquatics programs such as swimming lessons, water aerobics, CPR/First Aid and American Red Cross Lifeguard Training.
