On March 11, Governor Whitmer declared a state of emergency.  The Governor along with the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services have provided recommendations regarding COVID-19 that are designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.  In our efforts to combat the spread of Coronavirus, the Macomb Township Parks & Recreation Department is taking the following measures:

•    All Programs and Events within the department are cancelled.
•    The Rec Center and Township Parks are closed.
•    Senior Center is closed and all Senior Programs have been cancelled effective immediately.

Participants involved in these programs will receive credits on your household accounts on a pro-rated basis.  Participants will be emailed statements showing updated household credits.  We appreciate your understanding and patience while we process these cancellations. We will continue to update as information becomes available. The Marvin Blank Senior Center activities and building are closed.
