Meet our Fitness Instructors
Devin Blackwell
Growing up in family of talented musicians, Devin has spent most of her life dancing and playing a variety of instruments. Through her fitness and wellness journey, she found a way to share her passion for the art of music and movement while helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. Aligned with the POUND Community, she aspires to change minds before bodies and use beat and alternative movement to launch people to new heights of self-worth, happiness, and human connection.
Nicole Langlois
Whether you are just starting on your fitness journey or whether you are a seasoned exercise junky, Nicole’s mission is to provide you with a one-of-a-kind workout experience that ultimately improves your quality of life. Her passion is helping others reach their fitness goals and improving their physical and mental well-being. Nicole actively teaches POUND, Cardio Kickboxing, strength and toning, bootcamp and Chair One. Nicole’s goal is to make exercising “fun” and to create an environment where you feel encouraged and safe to be your true self.
Melissa Fabiano
Melissa is a wellness and mindfulness specialist with a focus on building strength and confidence from the inside out. Over the years she has done extensive work both personally and professionally to understand the mind-body connection as it relates to both mental and physical health. She believes that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to health and wellness, and uses this philosophy to create a fun, inviting and judgment-free environment for all of her clients regardless of experience level or physical ability!
Stephanie Shell
Stephanie is a Registered Yoga Teacher with 500+ hours of training, including 300 HR Yoga Therapy thru Beaumont Hospital. She has been teaching for over 8 years, and has experience with teaching many formats, including chair yoga and yin yoga. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and working out, along with maintaining her yoga practice. She delights in sharing the practice in a way that appeals to young and old, new and experienced practitioners!
Melissa Stratton
Melissa has always been an active person and has been teaching group fitness classes for 5 years. Melissa earned her certifications to teach group fitness after the birth of her youngest daughter. She wanted to be a good role model for her girls by providing people a quality of life by increasing their strength, balance, cardio fitness and flexibility.
Radha Valsadia
Radha is a certified Zumba instructor and loves using Zumba to be fit and manage stress. She uses her background in teaching and instructional design to create routines that are easy to follow and gradually increase in intensity. She incorporates traditional Zumba styles of merengue, salsa, cumbia, and raggeton while also adding Indian bollywood, bhangra, and belly dancing. Sophia Treppa
Sophia is a Health and Wellness instructor throughout the Macomb/St. Clair Communities. She teaches many health and wellness modalities, from Nutrition to Tai Chi. Her journey with Tai Chi/Qi Gong began ten years ago after years of being a Massage Therapist. Her goal was to help others feel good mentally and physically, but after many years of practice, her loved profession started to take a toll on her health. She found Tai Chi was the key to strength and healing. She is excited to join us at Macomb Township, teaching us how to relieve our stress, strengthen our bodies, and learn to flow with the body and mind as one.
