Planning and Engineering submittal instructions due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are processing all planning and engineering submittals electronically in order to continue to provide timely reviews and feedback.

The following process shall be followed:

Please download the appropriate application for your project from the Township website.  The application shall be completed and submitted with proper payment as indicated in the application in the night drop off box at the back of the building at Macomb Township Town Hall (alternatively the package may be mailed to Township Hall but this method will likely take more time).  The package shall clearly state the project name and type of project, as well as “Planning Department” on the envelope.

Please email a PDF of the completed application, a copy of the check, and any and all plans electronically to Crystal Kozak at kozakc@macomb-mi.gov.  Once the package is received it will be reviewed.  If additional information is required, Crystal will contact you via email with the request.

Once all items have been received as indicated above, the submittal will be sent to all necessary departments for review.  When all department review comments are completed, Crystal will submit the review comments to you via email with further directions.
