Effective immediately all fireworks are banned until further notice.
The Macomb Township Fire Chief is banning all fireworks in Macomb Township until further notice. This ban is pursuant to State of Michigan statute.
Macomb Township’s current fire danger rating is listed as "Extreme" by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Macomb Township will continue to monitor conditions, and lift the ban when appropriate to do so.
