The Macomb County Department of Roads is seeking public input on safety priorities for Macomb County's roadways after having recently been awarded a federal planning grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. More than 240 people have been killed, including 61 pedestrians and 13 bicyclists, on Macomb County roadways between 2017 and 2021. The Department of Roads is taking a strategic and comprehensive approach to enhancing the safety of our roadways.
Residents are encouraged to share the thoughts on the priorities for improving the safety of the County's roadways. Visit Macomb County - Safe Streets for All (arcgis.com) to participate.
