[ARCHIVED] Update from the Parks and Rec Director

news-icon

Now that the Governor has lifted the Stay Home, Stay Safe ban, the Parks & Recreation Department is currently preparing to open our facilities to the public.

Both Macomb Corners and Waldenburg Parks will be open to patrons from 8:00am until dusk beginning on June 8, 2020. Please remember that social distancing will be adhered to. The restrooms will be open and cleaned once daily. The playscape will not be sanitized. Please use both the restrooms and playscape at your own risk.

Unfortunately, the Rec Center will remain closed until further notice. Gyms and indoor pools have not yet been approved to open per the Governor.

Please keep checking the website or our Facebook page for updates, as the situation changes rapidly, and we will post them as they become available. We thank you for your continued patience, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
