Pre-Competitive Swim Clinic

(8 - 14 years)

This program is designed to give extra instruction to children wishing to participate with a competitive swim team.  This clinic will include stroke techniques, and practice sets, focusing primarily on Freestyle and Backstroke with introduction into Breaststroke and Butterfly.  Use of Facility after clinic time is NOT included in Fee.  Daily Admission must be paid if you choose to stay and swim.

Pre-Requisites: Participant MUST be able to swim 2 lengths each Freestyle & Backstroke without stopping.  

Students enrolled who are unable to complete pre-requisites will be removed from class on first day and Household Credit will be applied to account.   Refunds will not be processed.

If you are unsure if your child is ready for the Pre-Competitive Swim Clinic you are welcome to contact us to set up a swim test.  We recommend you do this BEFORE signing up to ensure you are signing up for an appropriate activity based on the participants skill level.

General Swim Lesson Policies

Registration Limits:

Participants may be registered for only one section of swim lessons at a time.  Pre-Competitive Swim Clinic and Private Lessons are included in this. Registering for multiple classes or sections will result in enrollment cancellations.

Please read all class descriptions and age requirements before enrolling in a class.  Enrolling in the incorrect class may also result in enrollment cancellation.

Make-Up Swim Lessons:

There will be no MAKE-UP classes or refunds for classes that participants are unable to attend. If the pool is closed due to weather or maintenance, causing classes to be cancelled, a make-up class would occur on the next day in the sequence of classes after the last scheduled class date.

Use of the Facility:

Use of the facility/pool during open swim hours requires paid daily admission or use of membership. Facility/Pool usage is NOT included in swim lesson fees. 

  • Children are to remain out of the water until their instructor begins class with them and remain out of the water after class has concluded.
